Back in January 2023 I had the idea of running 100km in a single day after doing a 50km Ultra Marathon in 2022 with my best mate Kurt. After convincing him to do it with me, we both decided to turn our suffering into something that could have a positive impact by making it a charity run.

So that night I mapped out a nice, flat course with a good view in google maps, set a date and made it offical - the photo above is the one I posted to facebook when i announced that night what we were going to do!

We set a goal of $10,000 which would've been $100 for every KM we ran. We knew this was a BIG goal but with the support of our friends, family and amazing strangers on the internet we believed we could do it.

During the run, our friends made us a sign where we could cross off every 10km we ran and see how much money we raised for FightMND. Being able to do this and see the impact we had for those in need helped us remember why we were doing it and get through those tough KMs.

Thanks to the support we had from so many amazing people all day long...
